I have a few more I have done lately but this one is one I just painted recently for myself without plans to include it in any upcoming shows.

Due to the fact I don’t really want to pigeonholed as any type of photographer (ruin, sports, etc), I have added a new set to my photographic essay section of my site that shows some images I have taken with toy and ‘less serious’ cameras over the past few years in regards to changing seasons and the feels that come with them. Seasonal beauty is an ever changing set that I will continually add to.It’s just a journey in something I generally photograph for myself and haven’t really shown to others as its a little less cohesive then other sets I have here. Now that spring is here and it’s warm enough to work, I am planning some canvasses to round out my reverse macros. I really like colors and patterns on nature and this year I’m gonna start on canvasses with frogs and moths, not just butterflies.

Its not like winter ever really arrived, but I’ve been painting for most of the winter into spring this year on various new series, as well as some more experimental works. I’m also going to need to clear out some of the older stuff I have sitting around, so I will be having a ‘fire sale’ of sorts so I’m decided whether to do that here, on Big Cartel or elsewhere. Any ideas are welcome but I’d rather avoid stuff like ebay and etsy which isn’t gear toward art but rather crafts

Made this the other day to fit into a certain spot in my place. Its part of a reduction series I have been working on for a while. trying to keep things as simple as possible and let the colors and textures dictate the mood and atmosphere. I tried out some colors that I’m going to be using for another series (10 this time and much larger)…stay tuned!!

A new series of smaller paintings I have started working on as almost everything I make is large and some people have requested smaller, ‘condo sized’ works. Each painting uses the same colors, with some variation so each work is unique and different from the rest. This means only one of the paintings shown here looks exactly like the one shown. Limited series, unique, signed and numbered 1-9. Spray paint and marker on 6″ x 9″ canvass board sealed with UV protector clear coat. $100 includes shipping/delivery.
